Vestry
The vestry is the elected lay leadership and the legal representative of St. Paul’s. They have the responsibility to help define and articulate the mission of the congregation, to support the church’s mission by word and deed, to select the rector, to ensure effective organization and planning, and to manage resources and finances.
The vestry meets monthly to discuss, reflect, and take action on the important aspects of church life. The vestry consists of the rector, the senior warden, the junior warden, the treasurer, and ten members elected by the parish. Each year, the nominating committee recommends new candidates for the open positions who are elected at the annual parish meeting. The members serve staggered terms of four years, and the senior and junior wardens serve one-year terms.
